California Valencia oranges are one of the sweet oranges used for juice extraction. It is a late-season fruit, and a summer time delight; therefore a popular variety when the navel oranges are out of season.

Valencia oranges have seeds, varying in number from zero to six per fruit. However, California Valencia Orange has an excellent taste and internal color make it desirable for the fresh markets, too. When the Navels Oranges finish in the spring, Valencia oranges begin in volume.  California Valencia oranges are light orange in color and have an occasional seed.
